French Horn Rebellion - Mawson's Peak

The culmination of an epic international journey of artistic triumphs, failures and general entropy, I'm pleased to present to you, Mawson's Peak! Featuring the music of French Horn Rebellion. This is the first installment of a series of videos to reveal the narrative of their latest release, "The Infinite Music of French Horn Rebellion" (iTunes). The prequel is underway.

French Horn Rebellion is a synth heavy electro pop duo of brothers based in Brooklyn, NY. I liked one youtube users description of Daft Punk on LSD - check it out!

New FHR Wallpapers

Pulling some stills from graphics for the FHR live show to create some wallpapers for the premiere of Mawson's Peak on Dec 16 (!)

This was done on spec for a proposed graphic novel anthology featuring original stories from the series 'John Carter of Mars' by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The project was spearheaded by artist Mike Cavallaro and he assembled a pretty stunning group of artists and writers to participate, however with Disney/Marvel holding all the cards for JCofM right now, finding publisher to take on the project has been a challenge.

Still, I had a surprisingly good time doing this pin-up of yet another classic character of science fiction.

Started drawing on the Draw-Bridge Blog!

I'm participating in some of the daily drawing challenges at the blog of my new studio, Drawbridge. I'm surrounded by a lot of talented Illustrators and it's nice to see people dirtying up paper with ink again. I'm finding that working with established character icons is giving me a nice opportunity to experiment with technique.
